When you have sent your helmet, let us know as we can then get started on the design process, pricing, and turn around times. It helps make things go that little bit more smoooothly… Don’t be shy, and have ago with the design sheets which are available to download in the templates section, we always like to know that you have some sort of an idea as to what you want or like, or if not , just leave it to us, and we will put something together for you! ( That’s what we’re here for! )
The Design process may take a week or two, at this stage we will come up with a colour draft of the finished design and quote for you to sign off on. Once you have approved the colour draft and your 50% deposit is paid, any parts or accessories will be ordered, and the helmet will be put into the production line. (Final Payment shall be made on pick-up, or before delivery shipment.)
Throughout the production of your helmet, you will be updated on how your job is going. We usually have a turn around time between 3 – 8 weeks, (from time of artwork approval), but we always try to do our best to get them out asap (Exception of busy seasons). For urgent jobs there is an additional charge of $400, this allows you to get your helmet when you need it, (for that weekend race meet!)

You are going to be getting the best quality, for the right price! We are genuine, and experienced at what we do, as we have spent many years in the custom paint scene. We are all fully qualified Tradesman Spray painters who know what we are doing, and how to protect the integrity and safety of your helmet while going through the painting process. To get a quality job, you have to be prepared to pay a price. “REMEMBER” “we have years of experience at what we are doing, so don’t settle for something that looks like it has been dipped in a bucket, get the real deal…. As they say” you only get what you pay for! “.Everything used to paint your helmet at Diesel Designs is the best, from the people you’ll deal with, to the products you’ll receive.
PRICING
In General, you will spend between $850 - $1500, it all comes down to how involved your design will be, and how much you can jam into your budget. ( Note: This price does not include helmet or parts & accessories.) Chroming is an extra $500 (allow an extra 3 - 4 weeks for this process). Getting together the information such as” pictures, designs, and colours will make sure you will be given an accurate quote, and also enable’s the design process to be a lot smoother and simpler for you.
DESIGN
As the colour design process take’s time and is vital for getting the right design to how you want, we first have to know that you are definately getting the job done by us, before we get started. Note: All colour drafts are copyrighted.
SHIPPING
All shipping costs are at the customers expense. They can range from $20 -$40, depending on area in Australia that you live in….. We also ship overseas which can range anywhere from $70 -$200, please don’t hesitate to contact us for shipping quote. When shipping helmets you will be contacted when it has been shipped, If you want any extra's, please let us know. Pick - up from Diesel Designs is always welcome!
